Our beginning
Twenty-five acres in Bent County. Plenty of room for a story to grow.
Black Mountain Holiday Harvest LLC is rooted in a historic stretch of southeastern Colorado, where the Arkansas River once carried William Bent’s trading canoes and the prairie made a virtue of ingenuity.
We carry that spirit forward by making agriculture feel close, friendly, and worth wondering about. A maze becomes a lesson in noticing. A pumpkin becomes a reason to keep a notebook. A farm day becomes something a family can talk about on the drive home.
Our digital Kids Korner is an extension of that invitation: a small, joyful place for games, videos, coloring pages, and seasonal science.
